Netflix has just announced an anime adaptation of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and the entire cast from the original live-action are set to reprise their roles.

Original creator of the comic Bryan Lee O'Malley is also attached to the project as an executive producer, writer, and showrunner, alongside BenDavid Grabinski (Are You Afraid of the Dark?), and Wright is also serving as an executive producer. The show is being animated by Science Saru, best known for another Netflix anime Devilman Crybaby, as well as the Akakiri and T0-B1 animated shorts from Star Wars: Visions.

, Scott Pilgrim is returning as an anime series, with all of the 2010 cast returning as their respective characters, including Michael Cera in the role of the titular character, as well as Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona Flowers.
