Sonic Origins Plus--an upgraded version of Sonic Origins--will launch on June 23, 2023, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, Sega has announced.
Sonic Origins Plus will feature sixteen classic Sonic titles, such as Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD. twelve Sonic games from the Game Gear are also emulated and can be played in the collection's Museum function. Additionally, Amy is now a playable character in Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, 3, and CD. Knuckles is also playable in Sonic the Hedgehog CD.
For those who already own the original Sonic Origins game, an expansion pass will be available to purchase for $10 which will upgrade it to the Plus version and include all previously released Sonic Origins DLC.
